New owners- What's our next step, chlorine, salt...or something we're missing?

Hello,
We just moved to a house with an AG SWG pool, never having had a pool in the past. We went to Leslie's Pool before we found TFP, they had us shock the pool to open and add some salt. The water is nice and clear, other than some leaves we need to vacuum. :D We added some chlorbrite yesterday because our FC was 0. We just tested this morning with these results:

FC: 2.0
CC: 0.5
PH: 7.7
TA: 100
CYA: 80
Salt: 2400
CH: 1400
temp: 70

Should we just add salt then turn on the SWG or do we need to mess with the chlorine first? Should we add bleach and salt, can you add at the same time or should we wait 4 hrs between? We really don't know the next step and would appreciate any help from the voice of experience.
 
Hello Cramorale! You are in the right place for pool care. But before we go any further, be advised you will hear this many times...... stay out of the pool store for chemicals (except liquid chlorine), advice, or testing. They will steer you in the wrong direction more times than not. First thing - you must order a TFP-recommended test kit of your own (i.e. TF-100 link below). That's absolutely critical. Once received, you might find that your results were much different than what they gave you above. Testing is not difficult to do. Also, start reading some of TFP's most common pages (links below) to get acquainted with the site and pool processes. Once you settle-in, you'll love it. Lots of people are here to assist. Congrats on your new home and pool.

Oh, and for now, don't add anything to your pool except for bleach (liquid chlorine) as needed to augment your SWG to keep your FC at the recommended level. Others will chime-in soon.
 
The SWG says at least 3000 ppm of salt and previous owner's said to keep it at 3500 ppm. We do have Taylor K-2006 and K-1766 test kits that the previous owners left. The results posted are our own from those test kits. We understand that we need to get the SWG running so it can start producing the chlorine. Can we add the bleach and salt at the same time? If not, what should we do first and how long before we can do the other?
