    Raise calcium level

Pool and spa were refinished with Krystalkrete in December 2014. Ca level was 121 on May 28th; added 50 # of Dowflake Xtra which raised Ca level to 147. Retested May 29th and Ca level is back to 123. Thoughts?

    Welcome to TFP.

If you look through Pool School you will find information on our system of maintaining pools. The two I would point you to are:

    Pool School - Recommended Levels

Pool School - Start-up New Plaster

If you add more information about your pool to your signature it helps us understand your situation more and give recommendations more specific to your situation.

if you typed it the same way it might be too long. You need to abbreviate as you only get 5 lines.

    Welcome to TFP!

Thats a nice sized pool there, I was wondering about 50# of Calcium, but I see why now.
