Intex 20'x52" Bonding Needed?

For those with an Intex deeper than the NEC 42" water depth for bonding:

Have you bonded your Intex pools?

I am getting ready to plumb a Hayward filter/pump system to our Intex and wondered about this. Maybe it should have been done before, even with the stock Intex pump???

There are various versions of the NEC code, only some of which (the newer editions) require bonding for that pool. Different areas update their code requirements at different times, and are often on older versions of the code. Still, it is generally a good idea to bond the pool even if you don't have to.

I was under the impression that Intex pools are all "storable" pools. They have double insulated pumps. No bonding is required, simple GFCI electric outlet can be used, etc..
