how many amp service to inground pool

I was just wonder what size service ,amps and wire size is usually run to it .heres a list of what will be running on the pool
variable speed return pump
4-led lights
plug in pooL cleaner
i would like to run the wire large enough for a heat pump for the future incase i go that route .,may even run a cat-5 also

How can you say that without knowing the run length? That may be the minimum, but if the run is long, the wire may need to be larger.

Voltage drop issues arent as big a problem on something like this as most people think. Actually the minimum for 100 amp service is #4 copper or #2 Alum.
But, anything over about 5% drop should be upsized.

For #3 copper at 500 feet under a continuous 60 amp draw (which the OP would never see even with a heat pump running), is less than a 5% drop. For #1 aluminum at 500 feet on a 60 amp continuous draw, its about 5%. Unless he's running the line down to the next block, its fine.
