    Hello from VA

Hey I am Steve, from VA...like the title states. I'm on the east coast and have a some screwy weather this time of year. I'm a fairly new pool owner and still learning the trick to save money. This is an expensive investment . Just signed up to get some good advice rather than just being an outsider looking in.

Best move you could make Steve! I did the same here last year. First order of business .. get YOUR OWN test kit. See my signature below. It WILL save you lots of $$. Once you get that kit, post some test results or ask us questions and lots of people will be happy to assist. Also take a few moments to review some of the TPF helpful pages from my link(s) below. Happy swimming!

Welcome to TFP! We've had plenty of crazy weather here in Texas this spring, too!

Check out this article about Recommended Test Kits, I use the TF100 from tftestkits.net.

Here are some of my fave Pool School articles for you to start reading.

    Hi neighbor! Hampton here.

Listen to these folks here. They know what they are talking about and will help you make pool maintenance easy and much cheaper than the pool store methods.
