Replacement filter question

I have had an Hayward EC65 for nearly 11 years and it has worked well for the most part for me. Several of the fingers are now damaged and I know that I can replace them but I was wondering if now is the time to consider a replacement/upgrade. I'm considering the Hayward DE6020. Does anyone have any recommendations on a grid vs bump style DE filter? Here are the Specs for my pool:

Inground Fiberglass
16x42 about 22000 gallons
Minimal trees near pool
