I don't often read threads in the Baquacil section, but the pictures are always highly entertaining.

Reminds me of this news story from a couple years ago: "Vandals turn pool water yellow; cost family thousands"

Note that this is from two years ago, so no need to call the station to explain to them what most likely happened. I expect the situation resolved itself soon after the story was broadcast.

I wonder what they poured in the pool that turned it that yellow.

Look at some of the photos in this Baquacil sub-forum, and you'll see. No vandals. It was just an owner mistake. Or a helpful friend who didn't ask questions first.

I don't think that it is baquacil related. It doesn't look like any color that I have seen. However, I don't have any idea what was added to make it do that. The report says that the water was going to be tested to determine what the cause was. Perhaps contacting the The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture would provide an answer.

Whatever it was stained and killed the grass. Pretty sure that would not be a result from Baquacil.
