    Pump speed matters

This has probably been mentioned but thought I'd confirm. If you have a 2 speed or variable pump you should check your chemicals on high. I just checked my fc on low, fc 3.5, cc 1. Turned to high for 30 minutes, rechecked, fc 4.5, cc way less than .5. A lot to be said for agitation! Had an algae fright.

Most of the time, having the pump running for half an hour before testing will take care of things, even if it is on low speed.

What I thought, but been running on low for 7 hours. Checked from same spot. I do have my jets aimed towards edge/surface to rotate flow circularly towards skimmer. Aiming down would probably circulate better.
