    Question Clarifier use?

    Does anyone use clarifier in their pool? What kind, brand,etc? Is it recommended?
    17k gal 16' x 32' IG concrete bottom FG sides 1985 , Hayward S244T sand filter , Hayward Super pump C48K2N143B1 1 HP 12 - 24 hrs , use bleach, K-2006C test kit.

    If you are following the TFPC methods taught here, you shouldn't need clarifier. That is what your filter is supposed to take care of, as long as all your chemical levels are where they are supposed to be for your pool.
    15'x48" 4500 gallon Intex pool, buried 1.5 ft. Pac-Fab Dynamo 3/4 hp pump. Hayward S180T sand filter, bought used. Taylor K-2006 test kit. Rocket mass heater based wood fired pool heater.

    That was a fast response. Thanks, was just wondering what else I may need to do. I do follow the bbb method.

    Clarifier is generally not needed, although a few people here do use it.
    Indoor 20x40 35,000 gallon vinyl pool with 1.5 HP 2 speed Jandy FloPro pump, Hayward EC75 Perflex DE filter, 11 4x12 Techno-Solis solar panels w/ Aquasolar controller, Aquabot Turbo T Robot Cleaner. Also LMI metering chlorine dispenser pump and HotSpring Jetsetter

    I re read your post. You already use bleach. As long as you follow TFP methods bleach will keep you pool clear.

    Clarifier is for pools that are not clear because they followed pool store recommendations.
