Opinion on time clock vs automation

Simple pools are more than fine with a timer. But if you have a spa an automation system is totally worth it.
I agree with Jason. I have a simple pool and a time lock is sufficient for my needs. Now, my wife migt say I also have a simple mind......
I'm a Luddite. I like manual controls on things.

I am of the keep it simple school of thought, my pool has a timer and a stand alone solar controller for the solar heat, what else do I need.
Generally I love simplicity but I have to say I absolutely love my Jandy Aqaulink. I like being able to control everything from the remote. If we have guests I can turn on the waterfalls remotely. If it is raining I like being able to turn on my pump and generate some extra chlorine. If we are having a swim party I like to be able to control extra runtime on my SWCG. All from my handy dandy remote control. When it breaks down, and it will eventually, I will fix it or replace it.
