Adding chemicals

How much time in between application do I need to allow between bleach and muriatic acid? I'm assuming that they should not be added at the same time.

I'm assuming you're adding chemicals in front of the return with the pump running. With good circulation, it takes anything added about 30 min to be well distributed in a typical pool. After about 10 min of circulation, whatever you added should be sufficiently dispersed to avoid unwanted reactions due to locally high concentrations.

I would wait at least 10 min and 30 min if possible. If your circulation if poor, you should wait longer.

It would also be better to add them in the opposite order, acid first.
