Last season we purchased a 12 mil solar cover after our pb told us to get a 16 mil. After this we don't really want to trust his reel recommendations. We got very tired of pulling the cover by hand because it ends up in a big clump. Does anybody know of a good stainless steel or metal solar cover reel that is under $300. We have a 16' wide fiberglass pool with a 16 by 38 foot cover 12 mil thick. Found this website last week and love it.
