Polaris stops pumping after 1.5 minutes.

Polaris pump shutting down after about 1.5 minutes
We purchased a new Polaris last summer. This summer when running the Polaris the pump started shutting off after about 1.5 minutes. We had never replaced the pump so we purchased a new PB4-60 pump. It continues to do the same thing. There are no air bubbles present in the water flow back into the pool. Any idea what could be the problem?

Is this on a timer or control system?

Does it shut off if the Polaris is disconnected?

The Polaris is not on a timer or control system. When the pump is run without the Polaris hooked up it still shuts off. This is also with the new booster pump.

Well, it would seem like the options are that it is overheating because of a lack of inlet water or a power problem. You seem to have good water flow, so I think the next step should be to verify the input voltage when the pump is running and when it shuts off.
