    Dead algae

    I have a 18 foot round above ground pool salt water with dead algae what is the best way to get rid of it should I let the filtering system get rid of it the water is crystal clear the vacuum it up and made things worse

    If you are sure it's all dead a combination of brushing, vacuuming and pump/filter time should get it.

    Welcome to TFP. As Tim said brushing, vacuuming and running the filter will clean it up.
