Robots and FC Level ?

So I could not find a thread exactly asking this, if I screwed up just let me know and lock this.

My new Dolphin came today and on it was a BIG WARNING not to run in FC above 4 PPM ? REALLY ?

I assume Maytronics has no clue on CYA vs FC levels...thus this warning might be for pools with no CYA ?

I've seen a few comments that robots can run just fine up to normal SLAM level, but they were a bit old (the thread not robot)

What is the "current" thoughts on what levels are safe to run the robot at ?

They can be used up,to SLAM levels. With my 200+ CYA I ran mine constantly in water with FC in the 20 range.

I think you hit the nail on the head regarding confusion over FC/CYA ratios.
