Forgive me but I left my notebook with all of my readings at home...I believe ph was 7.4, calcium was 240ppm, FC was 5ppm, CC was 0ppm. I definitely know that CYA was approx. 45ppm.
That said, we have a Pentair IC40 SWG and our pool is in the sun all day. No trees or anything to block the sun. It's already 80s every day here, summers are 90s every day. Does 45 seem too low?
I plugged my numbers in to the Pool Calculator and it said that I would need about 135oz of stablizer for every 5ppm CYA that I would like to add.
Recommendations? Go to 50? 60?
