We decided to go with ocean blue over blue granite. Our pool builder tells me this is an upgrade. The pool is almost finished so I am worried that we are going to be quoted way more than what we would have paid if he bid it in the initial contract. What is a fair price for this upgrade?

I see, Ocean Blue is a level 2 pebble sheen while Blue Granite is a level 1. My builder mentioned the upgrade cost to level 2 way back and I'm afraid I didn't write it down as we were not interested in that upgrade. Sorry.
Darker Blues are always more. Sure it depends on the size for total cost, but dark Blues are a good deal more in every brand of pebble or Quartz.
