I've searched high and low and cannot find a post on this, maybe my search-fu is weak today.
I'm planning on using the TFPC method for my pool, however, most of the start-up posts seem to be geared towards existing pools opening-up at the beginning of the season. Is there a post that details starting-up a brand new pool? I suppose it's the same, however, my plaster guy just told me to remember not to add salt to my pool for 30 days. I asked him about bleach and he said to be careful how I pour it in because he wouldn't want it sitting on the plaster because it could discolor it. So I'm thinking I'll use trichlor tabs in a floater to bring my chlorine-up and I believe an added benefit is they also build-up CYA.
Can anyone direct me to a post on new IG start-up directions. Thanks in advance!
