Can Citric Acid be used instead of Ascorbic Acid for metal (Fe/ Cu) stains on pool

    I saw this one here..

    http://www.amazon.com/Spicy-World-Ci...tric+acid+5lbs

Like Baking soda used as substitue.... I thought of this since it is way cheaper than vitamin c at 2lbs and for me I need at least 4-5 lbs on a 22,000 gal. suggestions?
