Test arrived! My numbers, what's next?

The first thing is to get your pH under control, the test only goes up to 8.2, so yours may be much higher. Adjust down with acid a little at a time until you start seeing movement, your target pH should be 7.5 -7.8, but you probably don't need to get all the way there just yet, since you also need to add CYA, which is acidic and will lower your pH more, it is however slow to dissolve. So I would suggest adding enough acid to lower your pH to around 8.0 or 7.9, and let the CYA stabilizer lower it from there.

For the acid we suggest liquid muriatic acid, poured slowly in front of a running return, careful acid is heavier than water and will sink to the bottom if you
pour too fast.

For stabilizer we suggest plain granular stabilizer, and hang it in and old sock in front of a return (you don't want it touching the side of the pool because it is acidic and can damage your liner), it will take several days to dissolve, you can speed the process a little by kneading it from time to time.
