Why do I forget every single year?

I have the Taylor K-2006 test kit and every year I forget how to use it. I am testing my FC but the instructions say nothing about diluting the pool water. However I know I dilute it with tap water every time just can't remember why or what the ratio is or what to do with it. So sorry I know I sound like a moron.

You only need to dilute stuff if your CYA is above 90.

Extended Test Kit Directions goes into great detail for bizarre situations. Otherwise, watch the videos to refresh your memory. Ignore the TF100 - your K-2006 uses the same tests.

Troublefree does not mean Maintenancefree. It's like brushing your teeth: You can spend a couple minutes a day and pennies a week or go to the dentist once a year and spend several thousand dollars.
A pool is like a pet - you have to feed it every day, even the days you don't want to play with it!

Wow. Well that's not the case at all. So just follow instructions they way they are and I'm fine. Thanks for not calling me out on my stupidity. Video was perfect thank you so much.
