Pool temp issues with easytouch

I have an easytouch Pentair pool and spa system. I setup schedules yesterday around 12pm for the Pool (filter pump, rotate the
pool/spa valve actuators and circulate the pool water and switch on the heater). The heater is set to the on position in the pool heater menu to 78F. This afternoon the pool temp was reading 87/78. I felt the water and its warm so it looks to be accurate. How is this possible if I set the pool temp to only be 78?

Not positive, but I believe that you want to set the temp on the heater to 104 and set the desired temp 78 on the easytouch.

What type of heater is it? Normally when you set up the heater to run off the ET box, you set the heater up to ONLY work with the ET. The heat setting on the heater is disabled and it uses the water temp sensor on the ET box. You shouldnt use the heater control pad at all.
