Borates: TA setting

Can anybody point me to the link / discussion from somebody, maybe it was imported from a different website discussion, but it explained setting TA (I think) to a 50ppm (again, I think) value if using 50 ppm borates in the spa. I'm getting ready to add Boric Acid to my 450 gallon spa...
