    Question Question: swimming while slamming

I am in the process of slamming and my grandchildren want to swim. I am just about finished water is blue but Taking longer than anticipated due to bleeder on filter damaged and can't run on high. The new bleeder is due in today or tomorrow. My question is can they swim with the FC at 10? Thanks

Can you see the bottom of the pool? If not, then they should not swim.
If so, it is safe to swim if your FC is lower than the shock level for you CYA (which you did not report).

Sorry cya is 80 and FC is 10. Yes I can see the bottom of the pool. Just didn't know if the chlorine would hurt them or bleach their suits?

    Re: Question: swimming while slamming

With a CYA of 80ppm, they could swim with a FC of 30ppm with no issues.

If you are SLAMing, why is your FC so low anyway?

Troublefree does not mean Maintenancefree. It's like brushing your teeth: You can spend a couple minutes a day and pennies a week or go to the dentist once a year and spend several thousand dollars.
A pool is like a pet - you have to feed it every day, even the days you don't want to play with it!

Here is a link to the CYA chart
    http://www.troublefreepool.com/conte...art-slam-shock
Your shock level is 31-35 so at 10 FC it is taking longer
