Just tested for the first time. Now what?!?

Using the Taylor K-2006

FC 11
CC 3
Ph 7.0 (probably less but doesn't go down any further than that)
TA 220
CH didn't test
CYA 40

Get the ph down with borax and then SLAM due to CC??

Opinions/help appreciated...
Water is clear but not sparkling clear.

Yes, pH needs to come up first with Borax. As you really can't tell how low it is, careful you don't add too much at once and go high.

Was it just opened, just installed or,other - what is the history

I think you are correct to SLAM due to the high CC value.
I would be inclined to leave the pH and start the SLAM. Your high TA is going to raise the pH fairly quickly. Although it is safer if you raise it to around 7.2.

Been opened since April 1...been using this method for about 2 days!!! Before that was pool stored and spent waaaaaaay too much money on chemicals. I have borax and then also can just start SLAM tonight too.... What's the best thing to do? This is a new house with a pool for us. Pool been here a few years though.

Go ahead and bring the pH up to 7.2 and SLAM. I'm going to,guess this will be a quick SLAM.

In I am the wimp. I won't get int the pool unless it is 85 degrees or higher...lol

Kids were in it tonight. My feet were in it but that's it. Temp is 78. No heater. Not too shabby for indiana in May!

Ours is about 78 now. 70 to 75 I jump,in and get out & head to the hot tub. Above 75 I can stay in for a few minutes. Much prefer 80+
