It will clear up for sure. Stick with the slam until all requirements are met.
Stick with it and your pool will be so clear that you can throw a quarter in and tell if it is head or tails. If your eyesight is good enough, even tell the year!!!!
Was there a reason you are not running the pump 24/7 as should be done for the SLAM?

How long should I wait to run SWG?
SWG is wired and hopefully ready to go tonight I am picking up 18, 40lb bags of salt tonight and plan to add half slowly to the pool while the water is circulating and then I hope to run the system. Any feedback or helpful hints?

Are you SLAMing? I know you had another post but could not remember?
If you are, then don't run the SWG yet until you are finished with your SLAM.
When you do, you add salt to water brush it around and let the pump run for 24 hours early to make sure salt is dissolved and circulated. Than you can turn SWG on.

I was wondering the same thing and everything I have read states:
Add in 90% off the salt, if it calls for 500 lbs add 460...
brush the sides and bottom untill most of the salt is dissolved
run pump and filter 24 hours and then test salt level with the with this... http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001DO35EU
If all the salt is dissolved and you are between the recommended levels for your SWG then start the SWG
if under, add remaining salt to get to your correct level and wait 24 hours to start SWG..
Always turn your SWG off whenever you are adding salt and wait 24 hours after adding to restart SWG...
I plan on using bleach to keep chlorine up during this time..
