It depends. Do you need calcium in your water? Do you have a cement/gunnite pool where calcium is important? Vinyl pools or fiberglass don't need all that calcium.
Have you considered just using liquid chlorine, such as household bleach, to chlorinate your pool?

Are those actually labelled for pool use?
cal-hypo tablets tend to turn to mush and dissolve too fast without a specialized feeder ... NOT!!!! the same as the ones that use trichlor tablets

Yes they are commercial grade pool use and Do turn to mush I stopped using them just wanted to check on here if any good

Everything is good in moderation. But once you hit that sweet spot, you'll have to switch to something else.
