Frog system for caldera cantabria

We just got our Spa hooked up and have never had one before. The Manual suggests we use the Frog system (it's not a floating one, it goes into a chamber), which contains a mineral cartridge and a bromine cartridge. Have others used this system and do you recommend it?

Also, for testing is it generally accepted that I should not use the five way test strips that came with the Spa but rather the test kit I got from TFKITS?

We do not recommend mineral cartridges, and there are far less expensive ways to get bromine, if you want to use bromine.

Test strips are always inferior. Use the TF100 for both the pool and spa. If you end up using bromine in the spa, all you need to remember is that 1 ppm of chlorine is 2.25 ppm of bromine.
