I have sand blowing into my pool from my filter.

When I turned on my pool this season a large amount of sand came blowing in from my jet. I had just cleaned, backwashed for 3 min and then rinsed for 1 min. Could this be because my water level was low(just above my jet)? Or do I need to worry? I have a 24' AG with 15500gal.

    Welcome to TFP!

It might have just been a one time thing, but if it happens again there is something wrong with the filter.

No, this wouldn't have anything to do with a low water level.
