My first completed slam here are my readings

    So now I maintain?

    Readings:Target

    FC: 4:6
    PH: 7.8:7.6
    CH: 475:Need to retest
    TA: 120:120
    CYA: 50:50

Im in arizona to the CH test maybe just what it is, after i filled it it was at 375, had to add stabilzer, acid, etc. Now to the questions. I should raise my chlorine and i was looking at lowering my acid to the middle of the range but then I read with high CH then the acid should be in the 7.8?

Yes, bring he FC up. You will loose some to the sun each day and 4 is the absolute minimum you should have with CYA 50.

As you suspect, keep the pH a little higher with the high CH

I'm going to keep from embarrassing myself and let Jason, Richard or one of the other guys out west with higher than normal CH jump in.

With high CH, you need to keep the pH a little LOWER.

Yours is really not high enough yet to worry about that though.

Sure. Check the CSI, anything within +/- 0.6 is fine.
