Can I use my intex SWG on a regular pool?

I have the intex SWG for my pool and wanted to know if I could use it on a 15' round I am considering buying. The intex SWG says its rated for up to 7,000 gallons and my 15' says its about 5,200. Or is this ONLY made to be used for intex pools.

The only problem is the hoses on the 15' round are 1 1/2" and the fittings on the intex are 1 1/4" Is there an adapter made that could fix this problem?

It can be used on anything. I know somebody who plumbed one into a large gunite hot tub a few years ago and it is still working fine.

Intex sells hose adapters, though not very many places carry them.
