That's mostly 40 lbs of shipping charges. A bag of pool salt should run around 6-7 bucks of you go to the store and buy it.

Package it for swimming pools and you can charge top dollar.

Baking Soda at Walmart 12 lbs for $7.57 = 63/lb
Aqua Chem Alkalinity Increaser at Lowes 12 lbs $17.98 = $1.50/lb
Clorox Pool&Spa 16-lb Alkalinity Increaser Pool Balancer at Lowes 16 lbs $19.98 $1.25/lb
Leslie's 14063 Alkalinity UP Bucket, 10 lbs $22.99 = $2.30/lb but you get to keep the nifty plastic bucket

Absolutely Rich. You sure have to do your homework nowadays, doesn't matter what the product is.

I think the diamond blue bag solar salt at Home Depot cost me like $4 a bag or so.

Those are good prices. The Morton Pool Salt at Walmart is around $6.75 or so.
