So with the BBB method, how would you keep a pool that is in good shape maintained while on vacation for a weekend or a week?

Ideally, have a friend add some bleach for you.
Absent of that, raise the FC to shock level, cover the pool, hope you have FC left when you get back. Or you can float a few pucks if your CYA level can handle it.

I always try to keep my CYA on the low side, so I can use pucks when I'm away or won't be able to add bleach on a regular basis. A few pucks won't raise your CYA too much anyway.
Same here. I stuff the floater with pucks, raise the water level a few inches to allow for evaporation, and go.
Very good, our CYA is pretty low. I will keep it closer to 30-40 once the slam is over then in anticipation for vacations. Thanks!
I just leave the main and injection pumps on their set schedule and make sure there's enough bleach in the drum to last while we're away.
