Pentair IntelliBrite Controller

I'm getting a pair of Pentair color LED lights installed in my new pool+spa and trying to decide of the IntelliBrite controller is worth the $200. For those of you that do have it, can you set different colors for each light? For those without the controller, do you wish you had it?

The controller gives very quick, single tap, access to each of the colors. All lights attached to the controller change in sync. If you have a Pentair automation system there is no real point in having the controller, as the automation system can do everything it does and more (though often in more taps).

Got it. We decided to to go with the automation system, maybe later down the road. So if we have two lights but only have one controller, we wouldn't be able to have different color schemes going on at the same time?

All lights connected to one controller stay in sync (i.e. same color). The only other option to get different colors would be to have two controllers, one for each light.
