Swimquip 8428-7 inlet jet conversion kit

I just learned about the new venturi jets from infusion and want to convert my dated swimquip jets to these new jets. However, the swimquip are screwed into the pool wall with a face plate and I cannot screw the infusion jets into the wall after removing the face plate. Is there a conversion kit for the swimquip jets? I attached a picture of the faceplate including eyeball inlet. I am thinking maybe something like this: http://www.aqua-man.com/row_num.asp?Ic=1778 ? Not sure it will work though. Help is much appreciated.

My understanding is that the Swimquip jets mount in a non-standard way that is not compatible with other kinds of jets. You can't replace them with any other kind of jet without removing and replacing parts that are plastered into the wall. Replacing those fittings should only be attempted when you are going to be replastering anyway.
