Need a new cartridge, a little unsure on replacement model?

I am heading into my second pool owner season. My cartridge needs replaced, the previous owner ran his for 2 years prior to last summer and its really bad. Anyhow I am searching around for a replacement and can not find the exact model match up.

My cartridge is a Hayward this is what it looks like, I suppose I was thinking it would say something like Model# 11111A but instead its a little odd.

I am guessing it is a C-1750E?


The one selling on Amazon says "Fits hayward star clear plus cartridge filter model c1750" but none of them end with an "E" do you guys think they are one in the same?

Sorry I know this is kind of a annoying question.

Do you know the model name/number of your filter?

There should be a metal plate on the side of your filter. Find the model number and call Pleatco. They will hook you up.

I am a BIG fan of pleatco filters. They are a lot better than my oem Pentair filters. Easier to clean, better flow, clog less, last longer and the pool is just as clean either way.

If you call Pleatco they will have you measure the filter and come up with the right cartridge. They will hook you up. Trust me.

Based on your pictures, your filter model is the C1750 because your filter is the 175 sqft size. Using the filter finder tool on Pleatco.com the part number is PA175.
