I have a Four Winds hottub. the circular filter cover (not the basket) comes loose and floats around. I have replaced it once a couple of years ago because the dealer told me to. Now it is doing it again. There seems to be absolutely nothing wrong with it (no cracks, worn areas, etc.- the same thing with the other one). So, I was wondering if I put a little dab of silicone in the indented area that slides onto the thingabobs in the spa if that will give it enough grip to stay. My husband says the silicone won't stick.
