I received a pool quote of just over $40,000 in the Charlotte, NC area for the following:

Pool Size - 15' x 30'
Shape - Custom Free Form
Depth - 3'6" - 6' deep
All permits required by county
Excavation - dirt to be hauled from property
Frame - Rebar all #3 steel with 12" bond beam (Transferable Lifetime Warranty)
Shell - 100% Gunite (Transferable Lifetime Warranty)
Steps - 1 set of 3 oversized custom steps
Sun Shelf - tanning ledge with umbrella sleeves (with 2 bubblers)
Bench 5' x 18" swim out bench
Main Drains - 2 with anti-vortex covers for child safety
Skimmers - 1 largemouth cover with removable basket
Vacuum line - dedicated vacuum line for cleaner
Returns - 2" plumbing lines with 5 returns (3 in wall, 2 in floor)
Coping - Flagstone

- Make sure main drains and skimmers are plumbed separately to the pump with a 3-way valve.
- Pump might be over-sized, although may be sized due to the sheer descents ... definitely want to upgrade this to a 2-speed pump.
- Forget the inline chlorinator (can you get a refund applied toward the SWG?)
- Why is there a white light and a colored light?
- Mentions a dedicated cleaner suction line, but then includes a pressure side cleaner??? You sure you want a pressure side cleaner and not a suction side or robot? See: http://www.troublefreepool.com/content/162-automatic-pool-cleaners
 
Only 1 skimmer? You really need 2. One in the upwind(or south in my case) direction and one down wind(north in my case) direction . Helps keep the stuff falling into pool from building up in one end of the pool or the other . Or i'm i reading it wrong. 1+ to Jblizzle's comments.
