What to put under an above ground pool

Hi folks! My first post here and in response to what to put under pool. Just bought an Intex Ultra Frame, 22'x52" today. Do I put pavers under this type frame?
Also, how far should I dig before leveling? Any directions would be appreciated.

Am I understanding correctly? Whatever size of the Ultra Frame, cut the insulation board to liner size, then place pavers butted up to the liner size/insulation? (Newbie)

Welcome! You'll need patio pavers for each post to sit on. Select the area you want the pool and find the lowest spot and start leveling from there. The sod needs removed. This is the worst but most important part. I've done many by hand! It sucks!

Do yourself a huge favor and rent a sod cutter if you can. I think it was $40 for 4 hours on a saturday and I finished the job within an hour. It also helps level the area while it cuts. Not very hard to run either.
