Pool Antifreeze - Cartridge Filter

I see there is a lot of posts about back washing the filter once it's first started to remove any antifreeze that was put in the pipes when the pool was closed.

What does everyone do when you have a cartridge filter? I probably used about three gallons when I closed my pool...

Can I just start the pump and let it into the water? I used pool specific antifreeze.

As long as you used pool or RV anti-freeze it doesn't really matter. A few gallons in the pool won't be detectable and will not cause any problems.
