Adding Fiberoptic perimeter lighting to existing viynl lined pool

Hi All,
I have been doing some research, but to no avail, I cannot find an option that will allow me to add fiberoptic perimeter lighting to a pool with standard alumninum coping. Anyone have any ideas?

Depending on the coping profile, there might be somewhere appropriate to glue or otherwise mount sideglow cable. The termination will be tricky, but ought to be possible.

I purchased a kit ten years ago for an old in ground vinyl liner pool.
The kit came with short 1' long plastic coping sections that you gently hammered in the grove that the liner fit in.
I used a rubber mallet to tap them into place. They acted as a liner lock as well although I didn't need one.
The profile of mined looked like the bottom one show in the link below, SVV42.
