are all the CYA reagent the same?

I'm using a pentair http://www.amazon.com/Pentair-R15122.../dp/B004VU8WVE kit I'm down to 1/2 of that bottle, I'd like to order ahead to have some on hand when needed. Does it matter if I buy the Taylor brand or the Pentair brand?

I am not sure. I do not think that Pentair uses Taylor reagents, so I would not be inclined to mix them.

I guess the Tf-100 would be meaningful afterall.

Yes it would. You'll never regret it, and it truly is a good deal. The speedstir makes it nice. Just ordered a new one today. Mine's older and soon to be donated.

I didn't get the speedstir since it appears to be a luxury item. Maybe you can donate me your old speedstir? LOL

    Almost Dannieboyz...almost. Sorry

It's a luxury item like a power screw driver is. Don't have to have one, but it sure is nice.

I have used a couple of brands and several of them have had incompatible CYA reagents. Though I never tried Pentair.

Re: are all the CYA reagent the same?

Good thing I came to ask you guys first, I almost ordered a whole quart of it. But since I order the TF-100 I might just get a whole gallon of it when I reorder. LOL

Patrick.. almost is at least not never... I'll be waiting.
