Picked up a box today, the guy said they just got the shipment in so they're fresh. Debating on if I should get a couple more boxes. Regular price is $7.99 basically same price as Leslie.

I know they degrade over time but is there an actual formula?

There are charts that show the degradation somewhere on the forum.Depends on initial strength, storage temperature, and time.

Did you check the date code on it? Might be old stock they are trying to clear.

I'll check tomorrow morning. I tried to look while I was there but couldn't see it. I was occupied so I didn't pay much attention to it.

You will notice that temperature is a huge factor in how rapidly the Chlorine will degrade. This is not only how you store it, but how it was stored before you purchased it.
