Liner Lock

As you may have seen my other post. I am installing a new liner in May.
The company said I may need "Liner Locks" ... what the heck is that?
THe did a very detailed measurement of the pool for the new liner so would I need this thing or is this a
way of getting more cash out of me?

Liner lock is a very inexpensive strip of plastic that gets wedged into the channel along with the liner to make sure the liner will not slip out of the channel. Typically you install a liner without it, and then if portions slip out they are put back in with liner lock to make sure they don't slip out again. In some cases older channels with new liners require liner lock all the way around the pool. The product it's self is very inexpensive, and the extra labor involved should be minimal.
