Placing my 10' round intex metal frame pool on a concrete slab?

I need some advice, I put my pool last year on my old spa concrete slab. I bought a white ground cover that seemed to act like a padding. I cant find that pad anymore, would a heavy duty tarp work just as well? I dont want to spend an arm and a leg on the Gorilla pad.

Assuming your slab is level, a blue Walmart tarp will be fine. Once you get the water in it, it's not moving anywhere.

Thanks, yes its level. I was curious what most people do on a concrete slab. I may get the armor shield for padding, just a little pricey.

The material that underneath is used to protect the pool from stuff that might damage the liner. So, since this is not expected to be an issue on the slab, I might go for a something that would provide a little cushion but will not stay wet and start to smell. That's my two cents.

I've used just a tarp for 3 years. New setup/tarp each year and works out perfect, no smell/tear. I'm going to try it on some paver patio this year and see how it goes.

I would use a thin layer of sand and then a tarp.

I use EVA foam camping tiles. The sort that fit together.

Some folks use sheets of foam housing insulation under the pool, taped together and cut to fit.
