need advise for a decent suction cleaner please!

hi all, I'm currently setting up a used 17x30 splash superpool and i need a decent auto suction cleaner for the pool. i have a 19" sand dollar sand filter powered by a 1hp dynamo pump.

i am on a pretty extreme budget but don't want to buy something that doesn't work either, hopefully for around a $100 i could find something that'd work, even if only for a year?

Several people here have ThePoolCleaner. Yes, ThePoolCleaner is the name of it. They enjoy a very good reputation everywhere.
I've never read a bad review about them.

The Pool Cleaner is one of the nicest suction cleaners on the market but it is well above the $100 price range. I can't recommend any cleaner for around $100 except a manual vacuum.
