Any suggestions on if repairing a Filter unit cover can be repaired and still work? Thinking of using epoxy on the inside, and fiberglass repair on the outside. Pentair is the brand.
Repairing Fiberglass Filter shell

It may work temporarily or it may not work at all. The thing is, those filter shells are rated to handle up to 50 psi of pressure, your patch may fail at a much lower pressure. You risk damage to nearby people and equipment if the patch fails under pressure and splits the shell apart. Some folks have patched their filters and reported no problems, but we recommend replacing the filter body.
