    Windows control panel

I want to create a desktop icon for control panel.
    How do I do it?
    Thanks

    Re: Windows control panel

If you drag (with the right mouse button) the control panel icon to your desktop, it will give you the option to create shortcut here.
    Hope this helps.

It didn't work. Is there another way?

Another method (assuming you are using Windows) is to right click on the desktop, select NEW and then SHORTCUT. Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\Control.exe and then select it.
That will give you a direct link to Control Panel.
