    you know it's time to up your FC level when….

    …you roll back your cover and find that another species has decided to make themselves at home in your pool

    (yes, I've been a lapsed TFPer during the off-season, FC was down to 1 and there's hecka lots of yellow pollen on the water surface and precipitated out on the bottom. The salamanders were relocated to a secluded spot behind the hedge and I got out the bleach for shock-o-rama)

    Think of it more like a time share. They've enjoyed their stay and their time is up
