Replace cracked tile above water line? (new pool)

We had our pool re-plastered with new tile, along with new deck pavers, about a year ago. The PB is coming out to repair a number of items.

One of the water line tiles has a crack, which is above the water line (photo below). The PB has offered to repair/replace this.

Is this a straightforward type of repair? Will the result look reasonable and not cause other/future problems? Or am I better off leaving it as is?

Yes, and no. It depends on the skill of the person doing the work. It is possible to replace tiles so they look perfect, it is also possible that they not only look wrong, but also leak. A good builder should have more than one person on staff with the appropriate skill level. If your build went well and the masonry work looks nice, I would tend to trust them to do a good job. But if you got inconsistent results the first time around, it might be better to leave things as they are.
